Flash mob "An hour of useful energy"

The flash-mob "An hour of useful energy" was held on the 26th of October in 2016 near the central building of Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv national pedagogical university. The main purpose of the event was paying sitizens’ attention to the problems of energy saving.

The participants of the event were offered not to use electrical devices and to transfer their mobile phones in the sleep mode from 16.00 till 17.00. At a certain time all the partisipients were gathered at the central square of the university and performed merry dance to the dynamic music. Then all the partisipients lined up in the form of the sun symbolizing the importance of using alternative energy sources.

Despite the cloudy and windy weather the partisipients spent usefully an hour of "useful energy" and got a lot of positive emotions. The event was attended by more then 50 people - students and university staff who are not indifferent to the environmental problems.

The flash mob was held in the framework of international grant project 562284-EPP-1-2015-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE with financial support from the EU.
