On May 24, 2016 at Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv national pedagogical university the debates were hold (parliament debates British format, environmental subject) in the context of «Implementing the environmental safety strategy: European experience integration» project 562284-EPP-1-2015-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE» (European Union Erasmus+ grant program, Jean Monnet direction). |
The game was evaluated by the experts: Pedagogical science doctor, professor, the head of Theory and methodics of teaching natural sciences chair Serhiy Dmytrovych Rudyshyn, Pedagogical sciences candidate, assistant professor, dean of pre-school education department Lyudmyla Petrivna Zahorodnya, Pedagogical science candidate, senior lecturer at Preschool pedagogical and psychological chair Iryna Hryhorivna Danyl’chenko. Volodymyr Anatoliyovych Lyubyvy, rector’s assistant, was a judge and a speaker on a debate game.
In the debates the students of “Pre-school education” speciality (1-5 courses) and the students of Professional and pedagogical college took part. During the debates the topic “This house will make Ukraine clean now and forever!” was discussed by the students, in particular, by Victor Tkachenko and Anton Fil (the First Government), Alina Momot and Kateryna Masyuk (the Second Government), Tetyana Ahafonyk and Kateryna Lesenko (the First Opposition), Serhiy Korneychuk and Yuliya Shapoval (the Second Opposition).
The results of the debates are the following: the best speakers became Yuliya Shapoval and Serhiy Korneychuk, and the Second Opposition team won the game. The second place took the First Government, the third – the First Opposition and the fourth – the Second Government.
Game players were awarded with certificates for their support of the project and active involvement in the youth debate movement.
Assessing the debates, the experts stressed the attention on the importance of intending pre-school teachers’ understanding the problems of environmental safety, environmental education, providing the possibility of nature and humanity co-evolution and using the EU experience in environmental issues for stable development.
