INTERNATIONAL ECOLOGICAL FORUM «ECOLOGY. EDUCATION. SCIENCE.»

The International Ecological Forum "Ecology. Education. Science" was held on March 2, 2016 at the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine during which the members of the International Association of university ecologists, representatives of legislative and executive authorities, scientists, education authorities, schools and research institutions workers, representatives of civil society discussed the activities of the International Association of Universities Ecologists and strategic ways of improving environmental education and science on the principles of stable development.

The President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl’ Kremen’, the Rector of M.P. Drahomanov National Pedagogical University Viktor Andrushchenko, the Director of the Magnetism Institute of NAS of Ukraine Viktor Baryakhtar and the Rector of the Institute of Ecology, Economics and Law Olena Bykovs’ka proclaimed the greeting words.

Inna Korenyeva, the assistant professor at the theory and methodology of teaching natural sciences chair, doctoral candidate presented Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv national pedagogical university at this forum. In the report "The experience of implementing the European integration strategy at Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv national pedagogical university: developing and implementing the project "Implementing the environmental security strategy: the European experience integration" in the European Union Erasmus+ program in Jean Monnet direction I. Korenyeva presented the information on the progress of the project at Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv national pedagogical university, defined the main directions of future activities and invited forum members for cooperation in the project frameworks: organizing a joint scientific activities, conducting pedagogical and educational work with the students, organizing visiting guest lecture on the project subject, distributing the project etc.

In addition, the head of life security and physical education and health education chair, associate professor Olena Mel’nyk and assistants at theory and methodology of teaching natural sciences chair Olena Lutsenko and Valentyna Samilyk were invited to become the members at the International Association of Universities Ecologists in the frameworks of general meeting of this public organization. The President of the International Association of Universities  Ecologists A.V.Tolstouhov thanked the Association participants of the project "Implementing the environmental security strategy: the European experience integration" Olena Mel’nyk and Inna Korenyeva for distributing the European integration practices and for promoting the European Union experience in the field of environmental protection and ecological safety.
