THE EUROPEAN UNION EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF NATURE, ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY AND EDUCATION

 

European countries have one of the best experiences in solving environmental problems and environmental safety. Today the European Union environmental policy formed distinct approaches to solving environmental problems, and this, in turn, promoted the establishment of the EU as a player in international environmental policy. Ukraine is a part of Europe and should take into account the extensive European Union experience in ensuring environmental safety.

In the frameworks of holding the reporting scientific conference of the teaching stuff and graduate students "Implementing European integration strategy in scientific researches", which was aimed at sharing scientific and educational activities experiences, improving professional teaching staff training, involving young scientists to research activity and summarizing teaching staff scientific results for 2015, participants were acquainted with the European Union experience in the field of environmental protection, ecological security and education.

At the plenary meeting that was held on February 17, 2016 a report of I. Korenyeva, a doctoral candidate of Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv NPU on "The European Union competence in the field of environmental protection as a tool for implementing environmental policy". During the report the issue of the nature and history of the European Union competence in the field of environmental protection and ecological safety were highlighted, the basic directions of EU environmental policy were defined, the framework of the EU legislation was analyzed in terms of the European Union office in the field of environment.

The issue of EU experience in the environmental field was discussed on February 19, 2016 on reporting sessions of the scientific conference of teaching stuff and graduate students "Implementing the European integration strategy in scientific researches". International cooperation with European countries in the field of environment was discussed at the section of Life Security and Physical education and health education in the report of doctoral candidate, assistant professor O. Mel’nyk. The principle of stable development as a regulator of all aspects of life in the European Union was analyzed at the section of theory and methodology of teaching natural sciences in the report of doctoral candidate, assistant professor I. Korenyeva.

The features of ecological education of preschool children in the European Union and the development of environmental policy of Ukraine in the context of European experience were defined in the reports of pedagogical science candidates, assistant professors L. Zahorodnya and I. Danyl’chenko at the section of preschool pedagogy and psychology.
