International Conference «European integration processes in 21st century: key trends, main challenges and new perspectives”

 

2018, March 27th Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers of European Intergration hold the International science and practice conference «European integration processes in 21st century: key trends, main challenges and new perspectives” in the frames of the EU Erasmus+ project “Enhanced Visibility on European Integration Teaching and Research». Conference was organized at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, more than 80 from Ukraine, Great Britain, Italy, Canada, Macau (China) and Germany took part in the conference.

The multidisciplinary character of the conference has created a unique discussion ground for a comprehensive reflection on various aspects of the unifying processes on the European continent and the place of their Ukrainian state. During the conference, attention was also given to the issue of ensuring environmental safety in the context of approximation of Ukrainian legislation to European environmental standards. In particular, Olena Melnyk, coordinator of Jean Monnet Module "Implementation of the strategy of environmental safety: integration of European experience" (562284-EPP-1-2015-1-UA-EPPJMO- MODULE) made the speech: «THE REFORM OF WASTE MANAGEMENT IN UKRAINE: TOWARDS IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EUROPEAN LEGISLATION”. The results of the report will be published in the «Ukrainian Yearbook of European Integration Studies».
