We expand the borders of international cooperation

 

Since October 21st till 29th, 2017, Jean Monnet Grant Program Scientific Coordinator (562284-EPP-1-2015-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE) Ph.D., Assoc. Professor Olena Melnyk made a working visit to Afyon Kocatepe ?niversitesi (Afyonkarahisar, Turkey) http://uim.aku.edu.tr/galeri/. In the frame of the international grant program KA107"Erasmus + International Credit Mobility: Staff Mobility for Teaching and Training", Olena Melnyk lectured (8 hours) for the students of Education Faculty on "Global environmental problems of humanity and their background" and for the students of Technology Faculty she held a lecture-practical class according the Jean Monnet program Module "Implementing environmental safety strategy: European experience integration” on the topic "Waste management: European practice". Students were actively involved in the conversation, discussing the best practices in the field of recycling of household wastes. Professor Ayhan EROL shared his experience in modern technology for the sorting, collection and recycling of garbage in the Turkish Republic. After the practical class Olena Melnyk visited the educational and scientific laboratory of Mechanical Tests and Heat treatment, where Professor M. Serhat BA?PINAR told about his own experience in the field of waste recycling.

The staff of the faculty highly appreciated the level of scientific and practical achievements of the Jean Monet Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University team. During the joint meeting the possibilities of cooperative project applying for the Erasmus + "Professor Jean Monnet" between the teachers of both universities were discussed.

Total number of the participants at the practical class was more than 70 people.
