EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE ON ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY IS IN THE CENTRE OF ATTENTION

"The strategy of environmental security: the European experience integration" Jean Monnet module under the direction of technical sciences candidate, associate professor O. Mel’nyk is performed at Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv national pedagogical university since September, 2015. In the project frameworks to justify the module content and to generalize European practices on environmental safety the project team conducted a scientific research. Implementing the project caused the necessity to discuss the results among a wide range of scientists in the field of environmental protection. For realizing this purpose, on October 6-8 in Kremenchuk Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv NPU project was presented at the XIII International scientific conference "The environmental safety problems" that was held at Mykhaylo Ostrohrads’ky Kremenchuk national university. |
The leader of the project, technical sciences candidate, associate professor Olena Mel’nyk in her report on "Environmental Security in the context of sustainable development strategy: the European experience" substantiated the need to study and implement the best practices of European countries and the EU on environmental security for sustainable development of Ukraine.
